Collage, surface and form have been long time fascinations investigated through Comber's photographs. She combines representations of figures within illusory space and "real" space, collapsing fact and fiction into windows on the world. Her work has been featured in contemporary photography Galleries such as Gallery 44 and has been selected by the Magenta Foundation for their forthcoming emerging artist 2006 show as well as featured in their groundbreaking book, Carte Blanch, which is the first of its kind to highlight Canadian Photographers. She is a recent graduate of Ryerson's Image Arts programme and works out of Toronto. She is currently traveling, exploring the Canadian Rockies and her undetermined future.
